This project required me to develop an Instant Messaging client for the AOL AIM Oscar 9 protocol. My client wished to integrate their own version of AIM inside a VB6 module, however they were unable to find many coders familiar with the latest version of Oscar who could access it from an older language without use of the AOL SDK. Above is a screenshot of my implementation which provided access and compatability as well as the ability to parse HTML streams from the official client.
